Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies are, which ones are used on loupixa.com, why they are used, how long they last, and how you can control them. It forms an integral part of our Privacy Policy and our Legal Notice.

Art. 1

What Are Cookies?

A cookie is a small text file deposited by a website on your device when you visit it. Cookies allow the website to recognise your device on subsequent visits and to remember certain information about your preferences or browsing behaviour. Beyond classic cookies, the term "trackers" covers a broader range of technologies:

Session cookies: temporary files deleted automatically when you close your browser.
Persistent cookies: files that remain on your device after your session ends, for a defined duration.
First-party cookies: set directly by loupixa.com for the site's own purposes.
Third-party cookies: set by external services integrated into the site — these may track your activity across multiple websites.
Local storage and session storage: browser-based storage mechanisms used to save data locally.
Pixels and web beacons: invisible tracking elements embedded in a page or email, used to confirm whether content has been viewed.

Cookies are not programmes and cannot carry viruses or execute code. They can only be read by the domain that created them, with the exception of third-party cookies.

Consent Mechanism

On your first visit to loupixa.com, a consent banner is displayed allowing you to make granular choices about which cookie categories you accept, in compliance with CNIL guidelines requiring category-level consent.

What constitutes valid consent

Freely given: refusing cookies must be as easy as accepting them. No feature of the Website is conditioned on accepting non-essential cookies.
Specific: consent is collected per category — not as a single blanket acceptance.
Informed: the banner clearly describes what each category of cookie does before you make a choice.
Unambiguous: consent requires a positive action (clicking "Accept" or enabling a toggle). Continuing to scroll or browse does not constitute consent.
Documented: your consent choice is recorded with a timestamp and stored for audit purposes.

Your consent is valid for a maximum of 13 months from the date it was given. After this period, the consent banner will be displayed again.

Art. 6

Managing Your Preferences

Click "Cookie Preferences" in the footer of any page on loupixa.com to access the consent management panel. You can enable or disable each cookie category individually and save your updated preferences. Changes take effect immediately.
